Geroy, I just read the wonderful article in the Vancover newspaper about your reaction to the Obama win. What a wonderful response! I am so proud of you, my former student. All I could think of during the campaign was...did my former students remember the Civil Rights movement, prejudice and discrimination, the Voting Rights Act, etc. etc. This election made me extra proud to be an American. Hello Geroy! I am a big fan of both you and the CFL! I am originally from western Pennsylvania, and I cover high school recruiting in Ohio. A colleague of mine told me that you have a cousin that also signed to the CFL, is there any truth to that? if so, which team? and can we expect him to inherit the "superman" pose? lol, Take Care Geroy and go LIONS!

It's true I have cousin Andrew Hawkins has signed a contract with the Montreal Alouttes he is a wr/returner. I'm not sure if he will inherit the pose just yet. There's a lot of weight that one must carry when you do the pose. I'm sure he will have a ton of sucess in Montreal.

Hey Geroy, Not sure when you will read this. Just was at your team practice. You had suggested i go to your website so i gave it a whirl. You signed my jersey too thanks gain. Like i said i will be there in calgary to cheer you on. Not getting greedy or anything but been a jersey collector for years and lions fan sice birth. What can i do to get an official lions jersey with your name on it. A lot of the jerseys out there have screened on numbers and incorrect font. I would die for an authentic SIMON jersey even with the rona sign. There so hard to come by. I know its probably a stretch, and its not at all for selling purposes. Thanks geroy for your time, ive always wanted one so i thought id try a shot in the dark by asking you personally. Again, thanks for your contributions to the lions, ill be there in calgary hope everything goes well with you in football and outside of football.

The best way to get an authentic jersey is to go to our practice facility and order it. They will take care of it. When it gets finished I could sign it. Thanks for checking out the site make sure all you freinds visit.

Thanks for checking out the site. How are things. Are you still in J-town? I don't get back home as much as I would like and when I'm there I don't get to see as many people as I would like. I will be home in January so look me up. I'm sure I will frequent all the usual spots in town.
